*Looking at the last fixture, i’m basically going to look at potential haulers for GW38 that could potentially help you against your Mini-League rivals or Overall Rank! Plus in recent times GW38 has been full of goals… could there be some goal-fests incoming?!

Starting with the BRIGHTON vs MAN CITY game, your usual suspects of Sergio Aguero (11.9m) & Raheem Sterling (11.6m) are your obvious picks for City while hey it’s been that kind of season that someone out of the limelight could be massive this GW. Enter Leroy Sane (9.3m)!!! Could it be?

I’d avoid bringing in players in the BURNLEY vs ARSENAL unless you’re really wanting a punt on a potential Golden Boot winner in Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang (10.8m). He will be hungry for goals to try to steal it from Mo Salah.

CRYSTAL PALACE vs BOURNEMOUTH could be a very tasty fixture for points! Both Eagles and Cherries have been leaky of late and players like Ryan ‘Giuly’ Fraser (6.2m), Callum ‘Troll’ Wilson (6.8m), Luka Milivojevic (6.4m) & Wilfried Zaha (6.8m) are potentially haulers here.

A game that could have goals is FULHAM vs NEWCASTLE but i’d only really be looking at Ryan Babel (5.5m)! 5 goals and 4 assists for the half season he’s been in the EPL has been a great return, could he go big here?!

The very interesting game of LEICESTER vs CHELSEA could be a goal-fest!! If it does go off here, Jamie ‘Vardy Bus’ Vardy (9m) & Eden ‘Electric’ Hazard (11m) are your obvious choices here to do some damage however a left-field choice could be Ruben Loftus-Cheek (5.2m)… potential Son replacement anyone?

The other HUGEEE game of the GW38 is LIVERPOOL vs WOLVES! Firstly, what a comeback midweek! Loved it so much, never give up people!!! Ok so back to this one, bench Wolves asset at your peril as this could be cagey and in cagey games anything can happen. However the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold (5.8m), Virgil Van Dijk (6.7m), Sadio Mane (10.3m) and Mo Salah (13.3m) are great players to have as surely one of these men will be the hero on the day… if they in fact can be a hero depending on other results… for Andy Robertson (6.8m) owners, await pressers for injury news 😉

A dire Old Trafford GW38 (MAN UNITED vs CARDIFF) could be on the cards if United don’t turn up for the fans in this match. Man United have been soooo poor of late and will want to put on a show here to finish the season on a high. Not many players i’d look at from this one in case they don’t turn up but Paul Pogba (8.6m) is your obvious choice in this game.

SOUTHAMPTON vs HUDDERSFIELD could actually be an entertaining encounter as both will want to end on a good note and goals could be incoming here! James Ward-Prowse (5.1m) has a great home record of late and could be a good differential here as (dare I say it) maybe Shane Long (4.7m) is… 4 goals in 6 games, stranger things have happened.

An interesting game where TOTTENHAM vs EVERTON could also have goals galore too as last time they met this game had 8 goals! A leggy Spurs will be still coming down from that epic Champions League fightback while Everton have found unreal form! Gylfi Sigurdsson (7.4m) & Lucas Digne (5.4m) could be great players to own in this one.

Lastly, WATFORD vs WEST HAM could again offer entertainment as both teams have been leaky of late but Watford should want to win this one with form in mind for their FA Cup game next week against Man City. Gerard Deulofeu (5.7m) & Troy Deeney (5.8m) are good options this week I think.

Thanks for reading and i’ll be back next season with more insightful FPL Previews 🙂

Goodluck FPL Managers!

*Looking at remaining 2 fixtures, a battle for positions has many teams wanting to excel in these last two GWs… here are the players who should be in our thinking,

LIVERPOOL have it all to play for in their final fixtures of the season. Newcastle & Wolves and a potential Man City (Gerrard) slip separates them from the title (Special mention to Stevie G, love the guy and for me Liverpool lost that season’s title the game after when they draw with Palace 3-3) After losing to Barcelona midweek in the Champions League they’ll need to bounce back and both Roberto Firmino (9.3m) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (5.7m) didn’t start, making them VERY LIKELY to start against Newcastle this week. The usual defensive suspects Virgil Van Dijk (6.7m) and Andy Robertson (6.8m) have been stalwart’s all season but with the Golden Boot race heating up Sadio Mane (10.2m) and Mo Salah (13.3m) have form on their side and one or two of them should be in your team.

Next MANCHESTER CITY have no distractions until seasons end as they only have F.A Cup Final to look at after GW38. They play a Leicester team fighting for 7th spot so don’t rule out a Leicester goal here but they have plenty of appealing options in the last two GWs. More Golden Boot same team rivals in Sergio Aguero (11.9m), Raheem Sterling (11.6m) will fight for the top gong here and Bernado Silva (7.7m) who seems to be holding Guardiola’s hand of late with plenty of starts should start (potentially as a winger) so keep an eye on these three.

Moving onto the hunt for the elusive Champions League spots, starting with TOTTENHAM. A shock midweek home loss to Ajax in the Champions League plus West Ham home loss last GW has thrown their season into turmoil, can they fight back on both fronts? I say why not! With Kane out, it’s been tough finding goals of late but a rested Son (8.9m) should do some damage this week! Their defensive assets have been on consistent rotation of late but with only two GWs remaining, holding may be needed unless you want to downgrade and upgrade a midfielder or forward. Be careful as Christian Eriksen (9.3m) may not be risked here as Poch may have all eyes on the Ajax game but then again knowing the slave-master that is Poch, he may play Eriksen for 90 minutes here!

Next up the massively untrustworthy MANCHESTER UNITED! They have such poor form of late but have the easiest fixtures in the league facing Huddersfield and Cardiff in their last two GWs. Can they finish strong and give FPL managers some strong pointage!? Paul Pogba (8.5m), Luke Shaw (5.0m) & (if-fit) Marcus Rashford (7.3m) are players you can think about but then again can they be trusted?

I said it last week, it’s literally like no one wants that 4th spot! ARSENAL were sooooo poor again against Leicester last GW! They’ve conceded 9 goals in their last EPL 3 games! Another motivated team that has good fixtures that we CANNOT trust! Alexandre Lacazette (9.4m) and (if-fit) Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang (10.8m) are potentially the only players if you’re still taking this game seriously we can look at from the Gunners. After all, they did both score in the Europa League this morning.

Last up in the race for 4th, we have CHELSEA who you’d have to say have better form than the above two teams and have some decent fixtures. Eden Hazard (10.9m) has been dazzling of late with 47 points in his last 4 home games and is a great shout in the coming games as a nice differential especially as he was benched in the Europa League this morning. Cesar Azpilicueta (6.4m) would be the only other name i’d consider bringing in/holding from Chelsea unless you really wanted to go for it and bring in Gonzalo Higuaín (9m) who you just never know what the big Argentine can do.

The 7th Position Europe League Chasing teams of LEICESTER, EVERTON, WOLVES & WATFORD are teams to look at as they have motivation for the final stages of the season. Starting with Leicester, Brendan ‘Steve’ Rodgers have the most difficult fixtures playing Man City & Chelsea but Jamie Vardy (9m) has an amazing record against the top 6 sides in England so beware of the energy drink fiend! Everton’s Gylfi Sigurdsson (7.4m) & Lucas Digne (5.4m) have been great this season and will want to end this season on a high! Wolves trio of Matt Doherty (5.3m) Diogo Jota (6.3m) & Raul Jimenez (7m) have a tasty plum home fixture against relegated Fulham so if you have them, you obviously play them this week but they have Liverpool next week so buyers beware. Lastly Gerard Deulofeu (5.7m) from Watford loves an away goal scoring 7 of his 9 EPL goals away from Vicarage Road.

CRYSTAL PALACE have the most favourable last two fixtures so set-piece specialist Luka Milivojevic (6.4m) & Wilfried Zaha (6.8m) are one’s to watch from the Eagles.

Other Players of note to consider, Ryan Babel (5.5m) who has 4 goals in his last 6 appearances for the FULHAM and Callum Wilson (6.8m) of BOURNEMOUTH who has 3 goals and 3 assists in his last 3 games.

Goodluck FPL managers, don’t overthink it, just go with your gut!

MASSIVE match for both teams here as Liverpool must maintain the pace at the top of the table while Southampton try to fend off Cardiff for that last relegation spot. The Saints will go in confidently to this clash as they are chasing their fourth win in five matches, while Klopp’s army are chasing their fourth consecutive EPL win.

The last few weeks, Southampton players have been auditioning for our DGW35 squads and the best ‘free-kick artist’ in England (at the moment) is on my radar! James Ward-Prowse (5.1m) has the equal most free-kicks this season but has been a revelation for Hasselhoff’s time in charge. Since the new manager’s taken over, JWP has netted 6 goals in 12 games. Someone who never has lived up to the hype is Nathan Redmond (5.3m) , he’s got the potential but just can’t seem to deliver consistently. Only 3 goals and 4 assists for the season I wouldn’t bring him in this week but keep an eye on his next two performances if you should consider him for DGW35.
Sadio Mane (10m) began the season like a man of a mission and is ending it the same! With Liverpool needed someone to stand up in Salah’s quiet moment of late, The Senegalese international has been electric! 9 goals in his last 10 games! ELECTRIC! I stand by my man and Mo Salah (13.2m) just needs a goal to get the confidence/momentum back up and he will be firing again, no EPL goals in 6 is a worry but remember, form is temporary… class is permanent 😉

Burnley finally broke their losing streak last GW to get a little breathing room from the very scary 18th position and will want to get something from this game, especially as in the reverse fixture they spanked the Cherries 4-0! Bournemouth on the other hand are 2 points off the elusive ’40 point safe mark’ and will want to secure safety in the fixture.

A tasty fixture for the dynamic duo of Ryan ‘Giuly’ Fraser (6.2m) and Callum ‘troll’ Wilson (6.5m) here! The boys love combining for goals/assists and what a great time to be playing this relatively out-of-form Burnley team who has leaked 9 goals in their past 4 fixtures!
Dwight McNeil (4.4m) has been dazzling teammates and fans this season with an impressive debut EPL season and is an amazing budget enabling midfielder! Scored in his last two fixtures, keep an eye on the young man! Ashley ‘Jimmy’ Barnes (5.7m) has been a little quiet of late but would very much fancy his chances against a leaky Cherry outfit which he scored a double in the reverse fixture in 21 minutes played!

Poor Huddersfield have only pride to play for at this point as they were confirmed relegated last GW, time to big deep for fans now fellas! Leicester have won 3 on the trot and will be on the hunt of 7th position so Leicester players could be very useful this GW.

I like the look of Karlan Grant (5.0m), DO NOT bring him in as Huddersfield are in horrible form and have a disgusting fixture list-like it’s real bad… but he could be helpful in next season’s attempts to get back to the bigtime!
Jamie Vardy’s (9m) numbers have been amazing since Brendan ‘Steve’ Rodgers took over the Leicester helm and actually got 11 points in the reverse fixture, he should be in your thinking for this week! Youri Tielemans (6.1m) has been about as consistent as you can netting stacking returns in each of his last 5 successive matches (1 goal & 4 assists), can he make it 6?

14th host 13th here in a battle of two very experienced managers whom will want to wrap up safety and focus on next season’s transfer planning ASAP. Both teams have had indifferent form of late and if the reverse fixture is anything to go by (0-0) this could be a cold miserable day on Tyneside.

Salomon Rondon (5.9m) is one to watch in this fixture as he will want to hit the 10 goal mark in EPL for the first time in what is his fourth season in England! The big Venezuelan will want to make it 3 goals in 4 games here. Miguel Almiron (6m) has yet to find the back of the net but you kind of expect something special when he does for the first time. Only a couple of assists so far in his short EPL career but plenty of key passes and great skill, you sense the little wizard will come good eventually.

Patrick van Aanholt (5.5m) was on my radar last GW but decided against him despite recommending him in my preview last GW 😦 but hey hope their were a few of you out their that benefitted and put him into your DGW32 team! Maybe the end of the season, PVA ends the season like he did last season plenty of goals and plenty of points! Wilfried Zaha (6.9m) has been in dazzling form of late and could very well be a good pick yet again this GW!

Both teams have won their last two games but this game will mean a lot more to the Gunners as they are sitting in 3rd position and will want to fend off London rivals Tottenham & Chelsea, while keeping old rivals Manchester United at arms length… great end to the season incoming with 4 teams fighting for 2 positions!

Gylfi Sigurdsson (7.3m) keeps popping up with points with 12 points in his last 2 GWs and is actually the 6th highest scoring midfielder this season (3 points off Pogba!)
Alexandre Lacazette (9.3m) has been super dooper consistent of late getting attacking returns in his last 6 matches including 4 goals and 3 assists! Need someone to fill in the gaps this BGW?! Laca’s thrown his name in the ring for sure!! If Aaron Ramsey (7.1m) overcomes his muscle injury, he could be one to watch this week as he scored a hattrick against Everton last season and is in decent form scoring 2 goals in his last 3 games.

Lastly to jolly old London! These two teams have been inconsistent to say the least this season… LOL looking at West Ham’s past 5 games literally loss win loss win loss win! Chelsea have been better of late winning both DGW fixtures with a massive slice of luck against Cardiff with that heavily offsided goal going there way! They must keep up the pace for that Champions League spot with a win here.

Eden Hazard (11m) was a triple captain shout afterall as he dished up a delicious 15 point haul in his DGW fixtures. He’s now got 24 points in his last 2 home fixtures, could he explode with points again? Cesar Azpilicueta (6.3m) also did the business in the DGW fixtures and is a great option in this game also.
If you own Lukasz Fabianski (4.8m) you obviously play him against the Blues as yes they should concede but save points-a-plenty to will be heading the Pole’s way! Chelsea have been misfiring of late and will no doubt give Fab plenty of chances to get, let’s say a 4 point haul.

Goodluck in BGW33 FPL managers!

Thanks guys, peace 🙂

Let’s start this weeks preview with some healthy stats for the managers triple captaining a City asset this GW… Man City have scored 12 goals in their last 3 EPL games against Fulham, Fulham have conceded at least twice in their last 11 EPL games and lastly since 2011/12-Sergio Aguero has been involved in more EPL goals against newly promoted teams than any other player (that’s a pearler right there a he’s facing TWO newly promoted teams 😉

Manchester City’s second game of the week comes at home to relegation battlers Cardiff whom have lost 3 of their last 4 games away games. City will be playing every 3-4 days over the next couple of weeks so you’d think Pep-tation will affect our FPL squads one way or another as they face Brighton in the Semi’s of the FA Cup 3 days after this game.

Exciting/scary times for those who will use their Triple Captain Chips this week on MAN CITY assets as we’re just a Pep benching away from being absolutely filthy with the majestically bald City coach! Let’s start the well rested Sergio Aguero (11.8m)! No international duty for the Argentine in which surely he starts the Fulham game and ‘should’ start the Cardiff game (depending on Pep-tation antics). Aguero goes big here for me! Raheem Sterling (11.6m) has electric form scoring two hattricks in his last 3 games in all competitions. The only downside here is the little wizard played 160 minutes of football for England so may get a rest in this game if Pep wants to burn Triple Captaining Managers. Raheem could be essential also this week. Lastly, Aymeric LaPorte (5.9m) didn’t have international duty either focusing on recovery from his latest injury and could well start both City’s games. In his DGW25, he exploded with a 20 point haul, could history repeat here?

I honestly wouldn’t consider any FULHAM players besides maybe Aleksander Mitrovic (6.4m) but there are plenty of other strikers ahead of the Serb as you’ll read below.

Despite being knocked out of the FA Cup, Manchester United still have form on their side and will be confident heading into this game against a Watford side who’s sitting pretty in 8th position and will have one-eye on their FA Cup Semi Final. United have won 10 of their previous 11 games against the Hornets and Solskaer will demand the 3 points here to keep up the pace for that elusive Champions League spot.

The reverse fixture saw an entertaining 1-1 draw at Old Trafford, let’s hope this fixture is rotation free blockbuster of a game also! This preview is difficult to write as by April 2nd a lot may of changed with updates/pressers but this game will matter to Man United so OGS most likely will play full strength squads in both DGW games!

Relatively secure MAN UNITED picks for this DGW32, starting with the ever-dabbing Paul Pogba (8.9m). Lacked form of late with zero goals in his last 4 EPL games including that untimely missed penalty (which punished captainers that GW-sorry to bring it up… or am I?! 😉 ), so not the first choice captain this week but will no doubt play both games and could easily get a double digit haul. Marcus Rashford (7.6m) & Romelu Lukaku (10.8m) both missed international fixtures which will be music to FPL owners/prospective owners as they very well may play both fixtures if OGS pulled a fast one getting them rested for United’s busy upcoming period! Lukaku is in better form of the two hitting 2 double’s in his last 3 EPL games but i’d be waiting for the pressers for sure! A United defender may be on the cards if one of these two lack fitness and i’m leaning toward Victor Lindelöf (5.1m) at the back.

Burnley are winless in their last 9 top flight home games against Wolves and Wolves have a 100% record against the Clarets in the EPL. Verrrry interesting stats right there, kinda gets you in the mood for some Wolves assets! Steady on however… Espirito Santo will also have an eye on the FA Cup tie against Watford and may either rest in this fixture or the United fixture. Bloody rotation better not plague us this week 😦

For the WOLVES, if Free-Hitting, I would be waiting until the pressers to decide on most of their players as in the past Santo has rested so he may very well do it again!
The obvious choice is Raul Jimenez (6.8m) who has been in magnificent form all season and has 3 goals in his last 4 starts in EPL… if he’s allowed to feature in both fixtures, he could very well be a top 5 pick of the week! Diogo Jota (6.1m) has finally got form on his side of late netting 4 goals and 4 assists in his last 8 games and lastly, Matt Doherty (5.4m) is another player if allowed to play in both fixtures could rack up some handy points for owners… been saying it for weeks but the Irishman is due a haul already!?!

The basically relegated Fulham will be a welcome fixture for the Hornets as they may use this game as either a confidence booster for their FA Cup Semi Final or to rest players with that game in sight. Approach Watford players with caution this DGW, but at the same time maybe a Watford player is the pick of the week as maybe they don’t rest any players! Again, this is one difficult Preview to write with so many ifs and buts.

WATFORD could be a dark horse team for some points this DGW. Gerard Deulofeu (5.6m) or Jerry D as my his friends call him, has 4 goals and 2 assists in his last 4 games and will be a cheaper option for many FPL managers (especially Free-Hitters) and again rotation could plague owners with him. Troy Deeney (5.9m) is another Hornet player who has been hitting the back of the net and assisting with 3 goals and 3 assists in his last 4 games… if they didn’t play that FA Cup tie against Wolves, i’d seriously consider both these guys but again, i’d be waiting for pressers for any hidden nuggets from Gracia.

The Spurs are literally gameless for 21 DAYS! 21 DAYS!!!! How can that even happen!? Especially for a team still in the Champions League!? I’m in shock writing this but one thing is for certain, they are WELL RESTED and players who didn’t go on international duty could very well be a bit rusty! Anyways this is a massive game for both the Title race and the Champions League race! Entertaining encounter incoming!

The Spurs will play in their new stadium here for the first time and will want to get a great start! This could actually be the start of Spurs player bandwagon’s if they take a liking to their new stadium as they never really embraced that Wembley moment they had. Palace would love to spoil the party with even a point here, edging them closer to safety.

TOTTENHAM players aren’t at the top of my list to be honest however the menacing Harry Kane (12.5m) always is a danger in a DGW no matter who the opposition is! The man wants goals goals and more goals and will long to be the first player to score at Spurs new stadium. Strongly considering for my own team but going to be tough to squeeze him in! A well rested Son (8.6m) could be a very interesting differential this week as he needed some time off with his massive workload of late. Strongly consider if you’re Free-Hitting as Son could get a double digit haul this DGW. Lastly for Spurs, Christian Eriksen (9.2m) is only owned by 5.4% (0.4% less and he’d be our Gut Feeling Friday for sure!) and again for me needed a rest. The back end of the season, we could see a rejuvenated Spurs out blow teams away in their new stadium.

This fixture is a must win for old mate Hodgeson’s men, as it’s a such a gimme fixture against Championship bound Huddersfield. Palace have gone W L W L in their last 4 EPL games meaning a win is due here 😉 The Terriers on the other hand have lost 3 in a row so if recent trends are to go by, a Palace victory is incoming

Decent fixtures for CRYSTAL PALACE as they play a relegated team aswell as a team playing in their new stadium for the first time. If fit, Wilfried Zaha (6.9m) could reap rewards for FPL managers as he’s been in scintillating form of late registering 5 goals in his last 6 EPL starts. Another presser wait & see although I think he will be fit. The well sort after Luka Milivojevic (6.3m) is OBVIOUSLY on penalties for Palace (he seems to get one like every second week somehow?!) and for people Free-Hitting… why not get him in as he’s netted 6 times in his last 14 games. In defence for the Eagle’s, Patrick van Aanholt (5.4m) is expensive yes and has lacked attacking returns this season yes but his stats have been decent all season long and maybe this is his moment?

Cardiff has lost all 3 EPL games against Chelsea and Chelsea seem to like playing Welsh teams, winning 12 and drawing 4 times of the 17 games they’ve played against sides from Wales. The last time these sides met, Chelsea spanked Cardiff 4-1 with a certain little Belgium International netting a hattrick.

I feel Chelsea’s got lucky here, as they need the 3 points to edge away at the 4th position they are chasing and play a Brighton team who very well may rest players in this game saving them for their FA Cup Semi Final. I feel this will depend on Brighton’s earlier fixture against Southampton… he shall see.

Despite CHELSEA‘s topsy turvy kind of season, I really feel their FPL assets can go big in these fixtures! Sarri will know these two games are must wins and SHOULD rally his troops to get 6 points this DGW! That certain Belgium I mentioned above is none other that the little maestro Eden Hazard (10.9m). He’s in devastating form for his international side of late, can he bring it to Wales and London this DGW? I say YES HE CAN, the man is due! Gonzalo Higuaín (9.6m) will know it’s now or never as his position may come under treat from an in-form Giroud if he’s not careful so you’d think the Argentine net’s minimum one goal in these games! Cesar Azpilicueta (6.3m) and David Luiz (5.9m) are both good shouts for me as they should both play twice and clean sheet’s could come their way if Chelsea decide to play as a team.

This match is HUGEEEE!!!! 15th plays 16th in this relegation 6 pointer! Both teams need the win, simple as that! If the reverse fixture is anything to go by (2-2), goals could be in abundance in this fixture too… as long as both managers don’t play too careful and make it cagey.

A couple of BRIGHTON players to mention would be Glenn Murray (6.3m), who scored in the reverse fixture but very well may get rotated for their second fixture against Chelsea. Also Shane Duffy (4.7m) if fit could be one to watch with his 5 goals for the season a standout for the tall defender but again could face rotation.

I’ll briefly touch on this game as both teams shouldn’t be considered for DGW duties but both teams are coming off wins and could make for an entertaining encounter. The reverse fixture saw West Ham get up 3-1 at Goodison Park.

I wouldn’t be bringing in players from either side obviously as they both have single GW fixtures however if you own players from these teams, benching them would be the best thing to do unless Marko Arnautovic (6.9m) goes out and has a field day!
At the other end, if you’re not selling Gylfi Sigurdsson (7.3m), he scored in the reverse fixture and has 3 goals in his last 4 EPL games.

We end at the Emirates where Arsenal’s been in some magic EPL form of late, unbeaten in their last 5 EPL games with 4 wins and a draw (the draw being that fixture where Aubameyang missed that penalty at the end to FPL captainers distraught) and they face a Newcastle side also in some fine form climbing up to 13th position!

Another game where you should bring in players from either team however someone like Sead Kolasinac (5.0m) or Alexandre Lacazette (9.4m) yo may as well play them if you’ve exhausted all your transfers for the week as it’s a decent fixture for the in-form Arsenal.
I’d be benching all Newcastle owned FPL players or maybe even selling for DGW players.

Goodluck in DGW32 FPL managers!

BLANK GAMEWEEK 31 (Free Hit Chip?)

Interesting match up here as 12th position plays 13th, with both teams victorious in GW30. Bournemouth always fancy their chances at home as their 26 home goals is 6th best in the league. Newcastle have been in some serious form of late, gaining 9 points from a possible 12, Benitez has rallied the troops beautifully and should steer them to safety quite comfortably.

Callum Wilson (6.4m) is essential for FPL managers who are free-hitting this GW as he has scored in his last 3 EPL starts and has been a revelation this season trolling many along the way! His telekinesis partnership with Ryan ‘Giuly’ Fraser (6.2m) has been amazing, as the lads have combined for 9 EPL goals… the last duo to do more was none other than the EPL superstars Anelka & Bergkamp back in 1998/99 season (10 goals). Saying that the Scottish wizard does love a home goal scoring 5 of his 6 goals this season at home, another who should be well considered for free-hitters!

The doppelganger of my brother Michael in Venezuelan Salomon Rondon (5.9m) has been in good form of late netting 27 points in his last 4 GWs and he enjoys playing the Cherries, netting twice against them in the reverse fixture earlier this season.

Burnley had some stellar form only a couple of weeks ago but that’s all gone to shit of late! 3 losses on the bounce will have them fearful of safety all of a sudden after they seemed to be soaring to safety and Dyche will want his boys to fight back this week and earn a result! Dyche’s opposite number, Brendan ‘Steve’ Rogers earned his first win last GW and will want to take advantage of the Clarets horrific form.

For free-hitters, you cannot go past one half of the Burley Boys in Ashley ‘Jimmy’ Barnes (5.7m)! He’s scored in his last 3 EPL home games, no Burnley player has ever scored in 4 games in a row though… hmm broken record incoming?! The other half of the Burley Boys, Chris Wood (6.2m) will want to get back to scoring ways here as his last 3 starts have all ended in goalless games.
Brandan ‘Kenny’ Rogers has surely had Jamie Vardy (9.0m) over for a candle lit dinner as the red-bull fiend has hit the back of the net in both games the new coach has managed! Vardy is in some scintillating form of late scoring 5 goals in his last 5 starts for the Foxes, can he make it 6 or maybe 7 here?

West Ham are undefeated in the 3 EPL games they’ve faced Huddersfield and Pellegrini will want to make that 4 here against the almost relegated outfit. Huddersfield have been winless on their travels to London for the last 7 trips to the capital losing 6 & drawing 1.

I’d really love to put Arnie in this little section but his lack of playing time urges me to focus on their defence starting with Declan Rice (4.6m). Huddersfield have scored the least amount of goals in EPL this season (scoring 15) and free-hitting managers should use this match to secure some handy clean sheet points. We can only hope the gaffer keeps them on their toes and to not concede a silly goal. But with Lukasz ‘concentration’ Fabianski (4.8m) in goals, who always puts in a shift and with concentration being his middle name, they surelyyyy stay composed for 90 minutes & keep in nice and clean! Plus the clean sheet bonus money will be all up in their dressing room this week!
Steve Mounie (5.8m) seems to be the new manager Jan Siewert’s guy starting his last 3 and if anyone’s to spoil West Ham defence owners party, this guy’s head is likely to do the damage!

Second last plays second bottom in a game that Liverpool assets could explode! Liverpool will demand the 3 points here, as their title rivals Man City have an FA Cup tie on the weekend which the mental pressure of regaining top spot will be essential for Liverpool manager Klopp! By the way, Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 11 EPL games against promoted sides.

I’m going to focus solely on Liverpool here as free-hitters will prefer I get down to business here! If I have to pick 3 Liverpool players for this week, I have to go with the three attackers in Mohammed Salah (13.4m), (stand by Mo), Sadio Mane (9.9m) and Bobby Firmino (9.2m) purely for the fact that this could be a massive scoreline! Saying that, Andy Robertson (6.9m) has been unreal from the left-back position this season and could collect some assist points and clean sheet points while he’s at it quite easily!

Everton are winless in their last six EPL meetings with Chelsea (drawing 3 and losing 3) failing to score in each of their last 5! WOW, that’s some crazy stats right there! Chelsea defence anyone 😉 ? Adding to that, the last two EPL meetings between these two have ended 0-0, surely there isn’t a third 0-0… or will there be?!

The Icelandic playmaker in Gylfi Sigurdsson (7.3m) must step up here if the Toffee’s want to stop that goal scoring drought, with set-piece duties and penalties in the locker, he could very well be a good asset this blank gameweek.

Cesar Azpilicueta (6.3m) has been great of late assisting 3 goals in his last 5 GWs, keeping 2 clean sheets along the way… for me-free hitters should slot in ‘Dave’ to their back three or back four this week. Wait for this one… Eden Hazard (10.9m) has failed to score at Goodison Park in the EPL, umm ever! Not a stat you want to hear this week as many many many FPL managers will own the Belgium international! Saying that he did score against them in the league back in 2016, but that’s kind of three years ago… hmm interesting stat that one. Big Gonzalo Higuaín (9.6m) is another player to consider if you’re free-hitting as he has 3 goals in his 6 EPL games thus far and could/should make that 4 or 5 here if he has a Big Rig Hig kind of day!

Goodluck BGW30 FPL managers!

Both teams are coming off much needed victories last gameweek and will want that form to continue at Selhurst Park. That magical 40 point number is what all managers battling relegation aim for to avoid the drop, with both teams in the 30’s, a cagey encounter is surely on the cards here.

The wizardry Wilfried Zaha (6.9m) went 13 EPL games without a goal or assist, now in his last 6 games the bloke has exploded scoring 5 goals and 1 assist, a decent option for managers free hitting GW 31 as he has this home fixture then GW 33 he has Huddersfield at home. The revelation right-back of the season, Aaron Wan-Bissaka (4.5m) has been owned by many all season due to his consistent stream of bonus points and the odd assist. As soon as he got 3 bonus points in GW 22’s 2-1 loss to Watford, I was like SEASON KEEPER! Never have I seen a player get 3 bonus’ in a losing team without any attacking return.
Glenn Murray (6.3m) has been quiet of late, last netting in GW 24… but he seems to enjoy scoring against the Eagles, hitting the back of the net in his last 3 games in all comps against them, can he break his goal drought here?

Cardiff’s lost 3 EPL games on the bounce now and Neil Warnock will demand a result from his troops here as they continue their relegation battle. West Ham have a pretty impressive record against their Welsh opposition beating them in their last 7 encounters in all competitions.

It’s tricky picking a Cardiff player week in week out in my previews as they aren’t bloody consistent enough but I’ve eeny, meeny, miny, moed and landed on Victor Camarasa (4.6m). He’s back from injury, is dirt cheap enabling midfielder and has set-piece duties.
The poor-man’s Ibra in Marko Arnautovic (6.8m) has been bench fodder lately, my Joff-spiracy theory goes back to when he was almost China bound… a slight falling out must of taken place as I watched ‘his final West Ham game’ which he waved goodbye to the West Ham faithful but he stayed on after the deal fell apart. I just hope we get to see the fiery Austrian in the starting line-up sooner rather than later. Otherwise his strike partner in Chicharito (6.1m) has benefitted from the Arnie saga and has been getting plenty of minutes lately… whoever starts of the two should get some sort of attacking return here against a leaky Cardiff.

This game has two teams with disgusting records, let me explain… Huddersfield’s home record is appalling with a league low of 8 points scoring only 7 goals, while Bournemouth’s 9 points away from home is shameful compared to their fantastic home form. Something’s surely got to give in this fixture… please no 0-0 or 1-1 draw, lets get a result here people!

Another team where you need to flip a coin to pick a player, Huddersfield just didn’t get going this season but i’m backing Alex Pritchard (4.8m) in this fixture to get some sort of return (as I have to pick someone from the home team, don’t I?!)
The midfield dynamo in David Brooks (5.0m) makes his way into my preview returning from injury and having a startling first EPL season scoring 6 goals and 4 assists. A decent option for managers who want a midfield cheapie that should play through these double and blank gameweeks. Another is Ryan ‘Guily‘ Fraser (6.1m) who’s owned by 19.9% still and rightly so, he’s whipping balls into the box for fun but has been lacking attacking returns as of late… that changes in the coming weeks 😉

The Foxes new manager Brendan ‘Steve’ Rogers has the ultimate first home fixture against the relegation zoned Fulham who’s on such a nasty losing streak with 5 L’s next to their name in a row! Leicester have been in shocking form themselves losing 4 of their last 5 EPL matches… Ok so look what I’ve just come up with, combined these teams are 1 win and 9 losses in their last 10 matches-combined. Intense game incoming 😉

Jamie Vardy (8.9m) did it again scoring in a new Leicester manager’s first game in charge, fourth time he’s done that now! He know’s how to make a good first impression doesn’t he… oh and the yellow injury doubt to his name, surely a head injury doesn’t keep him out of this potential goal-fest of a fixture! Here is comes Ricardo Domingos Barbosa Pereira (5.4m), it’s the name that just keeps giving… so lengthy and lovely! Ignore me, but yeah Pereira-as his buddies call him-has been scoring disastrously as of late scoring 8 points in his last 7 GWs, he’s definitely due for some attacking returns, could it be here in this gimmi game?
My go-to Fulham guy, Aleksander Mitrovic (6.5m) has a bucket of shots week in week out and against Chelsea last week he didn’t disappoint with his numbers having 4 shots. If Fulham are to get a result here, Mitro needs to hit the back of the auld onion bag! *Copyright Tommy Smyth with a Y*

This should be an entertaining encounter as Newcastle have been sizzling at home of late winning their last 4 EPL games by a combined score of 9-1! Just as Newcastle were looking like they would be in the middle of a relegation dog-fight, Benitez seems to find points against the odds and allow them to float to safety. Marco Silva needs results if he wants to keep his job and I expect Everton to come out and play at St. James’ Park.

I’m backing Miguel Almiron (6.0m) to finally reward owners with his first attacking returns in the 4 EPL games he’s played. He’s putting up some great numbers, just lacking that end product, does it come here? Fabian Schar (4.7m) has played just over half the season but has contributed 3 massive goals aswell as some solid defensive work.
The forgotten man Richarlison (6.5m) has 10 goals to his name this season but has been superrrr quiet as of late but hey he’s definitely due! If he finds his way into the starting line-up can he reward superrrr patient owners!?

The reverse fixture early in the season, saw a comprehensive Spurs victory. Since then Hasselhoff has given the Saints a bit more bite in his attempts to steer them to safety, can they take advantage of a tired Spurs who have qualified for the quarterfinals in the Champions League? Spurs will want to get back to EPL winning ways themselves picking up only 1 point in their last 3 games.

James Ward-Prowse (5.1m) is someone I’ve kept an eye on for some time and I’m so happy for him that he’s finally been given a chance and proving that he has what it takes to play EPL football! He’s already beat his personal best goal-scoring season record netting 5 goals and plenty more games to come to add to it.
Harry Kane (12.4m) scored in the reverse fixture and grabbed an assist also netting 12 points and since he’s been back from injury he’s looking like the usual consistent Kane scoring for fun and slaving for 90 minutes for his slave master Poch!!! He got 90 minutes in UCL today?! WHY?! Tottenham was up 4-0 on aggregate in the 49th minute!? Does Poch enjoy watching Harry run around or does he simply just want him to break goal-scoring records?!
Son (8.8m) was another who scored in the reverse fixture and could punish sellers this week if he can get back to scoring ways.

In the words of my nephew Logan, “oh wow”. Manchester City have never lost a EPL game against Watford! Winning their last 7 in a row with a combined score of 22-3. That’s got to get you thinking about City assets doesn’t it!? For current form City have won 9 of their last 10 games while Watford have won 3 of their last 4 games.

Sergio Aguero (11.8m) lovessss a home goal, I mean this season he is raining home goals! 15 of his 18 goals in EPL this season have been at Etihad Stadium, hattrick incoming? Just kidding… but seriously 😉 Raheem ‘loves to blank in Joff’s team’ Sterling (11.4m) has 12 goals and 13 assists for the season but seems to plague my team. Let’s hope for all us Sterling owners, this lightning winger can do some damage against the Hornets this weekend!
Ben Foster (4.6m) has had some staunch performances of late (besides Watford’s 5-0 spanking against Liverpool) and will need to be on his best behaviour if he can KEEP his team in the game with some HANDY saves. Again, just ignore me lol but seriously he could rack up some decent save points here.

The Reds have been faltering of late losing points to Everton and United in games they probably should of won but that’s the type of pressure Pep’s consistent City put you under! Burnley have been stumbling themselves after such a great run of points losing their last 2 games.

Keep faith in the one and only Mo Salah (13.4m)!!! He has dropped 0.2m in decent weeks and last time he looked out of form he hit a hattrick… just warning you, that’s all. Trent Alexander-Arnold (5.5m) notched 3 assists in his last EPL home fixture and could be on the receiving end of a point haul this weekend!
Ashley Barnes (5.7m) cannot stop scoring! 5 goals in his last 6 games, throw in an assist too. If he grabs a goal here, plenty of Liverpool defence owners and going to be pisseddd!

The Blues are undefeated at home against the Wolves in EPL games scoring 14 goals and conceding just two. The reverse fixture this is a different beast to those previous Wolves teams, proving that by winning the reverse fixture earlier this season. A must win game here for Chelsea to keep up with Champions League rivals.

Eden Hazard (10.8m) hasn’t been firing of late scoring in only 1 EPL game in his last 9 fixtures! He did get a double on that occasion but needs to get back to scoring ways to persuade FPL managers to invest in him again. Cesar Azpilicueta (6.3m) has 3 assists in his last 4 gameweeks and one to potentially own in these coming weeks when Chelsea should play right through and should get a double too.
Raul Jimenez (6.9m) just keeps producing points! Now has 11 goals to his name, the guy has been hot property all season long and is showing no signs of stopping!

The game of the round! The Champions League position won’t be determined by this result but hey it will influenced it ever so slightly you would imagine! 4th plays 5th here and in the reverse fixture, the Gunners went to Old Trafford and took a point from their Red rivals in a thrilling 2-2 draw, i’m expecting some goals here for sure!

Henrikh Mkhitaryan (6.8m) has 2 goals and 3 assists in his last 3 EPL games for the Gunners and could be one to keep an eye of if Emery continues to play the playmaker! Can unlock defences with a pass and also chime in with a goal when needed, could he be the difference here? Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (10.9m) has dropped in price substantially lately as he hasn’t been producing the goods in recent weeks, especially after missing a penalty against rivals Spurs last GW. The man has a point to prove, will he do it here?
The Kak’s or Romelu Lukaku (10.7m) has hit back to back doubles, back to back 12 point hauls! I’m glad OGS is starting to get the best out of the big Belgium international as all he needed was a chance to fit in and fitting in is what he is doing… are you consisdering the big Kaks?

*If you like what you are reading, please share it on Instagram and/or retweet on Twitter to get it out there as I would love to assist as many people as possible. Thanks guys, peace 🙂

The Spurs entertain their London rivals who are hot on their tails! If the Gunners get up in this derby, they will be only 1 point behind Tottenham’s 3rd position. The Spurs have been solid at home of late against Arsenal winning 5 of their last 7 home games with Slave-master Pochettino unbeaten at home in the five games he’s managed.

Poch’s number one slave in Harry Kane (12.4m) will play 90 minutes until the end of time now that he’s back and Harry loves himself a derby goal scoring 8 goals in 8 games against the Gunners. Heung-Min Son (8.9m) was a Poch slave favourite while Kane was injured, hammering him with minutes. Since Kane’s return however Son has misfired in both outings and ever dropped 0.1m. Son may punish those impatient sellers in the near future with a derby game followed by Southampton next GW.
Mesut Ozil (7.9m) was close to being our Gut Feeling Friday last GW and I even gave him shout in GW28’s preview which he come up with the goods. Ozil has 4 goals and 3 assists in 9 games which he has started and played at least 78 minutes. His manager needs to give him more game-time and let him run them out as he can be damaging late on with his passing capabilities and his precise accurate shooting.

The Cherries have NEVER beaten City in an EPL outing. Could it be?! Nah not this week but City did make hard work of West Ham midweek only winning one nil (such a dodgy penalty wasn’t it?!) Bournemouth on the other hand had a terrible midweek game, getting spanked 5-1! An inflated score-line could be on the cards here in Eddie Howe’s defence lacks discipline.

Artur Boruc (4.0m) is the only thing between this game being a blow out or staying sensibly score-lined. The cheapest ‘playing’ goalkeeper has to be at his best here against the most prolific attack in the league.
Deciding who to put in here for City in the middle of this fixture pile-up is always difficult as Pep gonna Pep the cheeky bugger but i’m sticking with the reliably consistent Sergio Aguero (11.7m) to light up the Vitality stadium. Loving a hattrick of late, the Argentine hitman could explode here (if given the opportunity by Pep). Raheem Sterling (11.3m) was benched midweek and surely starts this one (maybe as a false nine if Aguero gets rested) and a haul could be on the cards for the Englishman.

Brighton have been in horrible form and have slid into the relegation dogfight. 2 points off the relegation zone, they will want to get their act together against the bottom team and get a veryyyy handy 3 points! Huddersfield on the other hand squeezed a Wolves double this season beating them twice! They ruined many of our Wolves clean sheet the party poopers but hey i’m happy for their fans a they have suffered this season.

The General Manager, Glenn Murray (6.3m) has been lacking returns of late but what better opportunity to get back on track than against the leaky Terriers. Shane Duffy (4.7m) owners will be licking their lips as the clean sheet here looks good and potentially adding to his 5 EPL goals this season would go down even more of a treat for owners.
Steve Mounie (5.8m) FINALLY got his goal for the season after almost 1400 minutes! Could he back it up with another here and improve his minute per goal average slightly lower than 1414 minutes per goal?

This is a HUGEEE relegation 6 pointer as both managers will not want to lose this one as both teams are sitting on 30 points, 5 points off the relegation zone. Burnley’s unbeaten run finally ended last GW but Ned from South Park’s cousin Sean Dyche will want to put that defeat firmly in the rear-view mirror against a Palace side that got rolled at home to Manchester United.

Ashley Barnes’ (5.7m) consecutive goal-scoring streak ended against Newcastle last GW but that won’t stop him from giving 110% as he only knows how to and fight for his next goal… which could definitely come in this match. Gudmundsson (5.5m) got his first 90 minutes midweek since GW 21. If he gets back to consistent minutes, he may well be worth a look as his 2 goals / 6 assists for the season has been a good return so far.
Wilfried Zaha (6.8m) is back in form and has 4 goals in his last 4 EPL starts for Palace. This is type of game old mate Hodgeson will want his star man to step up and run this leaky Burnley defence ragged, maybe squeeze out a penalty or two?! (No dives please buddy) Definitely wouldn’t surprise me if Zaha gets some returns here.

This game looks like a comprehensive Manchester United win is on the cards however fun fact… Southampton is undefeated against United since Fergie’s retirement. Surely that changes here as United is looking dominant of late throughout their unbeaten league run. Any kind of result for Southampton will be most welcomed as they hover one place above the relegation zone… Hasselhoff has his work cut out here.

Marcus Rashford (7.7m) or ‘Rashfraud’ for some as Solskaer deceived many FPL managers into ditching him.. then he goes and brings him off the bench for a 13 minute run out… very cheeky you baby faced assassin! If Rash starts, you’d expect some returns here. A Gut Feeling Friday candidate, Alexis Sanchez (10.0m) has a great opportunity with heapssss of United wingers/attackings injured at the moment… go and sieze your chance you Chilean wizard, I still believe in you!

The Wolves suffered a shocking loss to bottom placed Huddersfield who somehow did the double on them and Cardiff will also do the double if they sneak a win here. The sexy named Nuno Espirito Santo will want to get back to winning ways immediately but they will face staunch resistance against Warnock’s Warriors as Cardiff are desperate for any point they can amidst this relegation battle.

Raul Jimenez (6.9m) missed out against Huddersfield but should get back to his point scoring ways this week you’d think as Cardiff are prone to conceding plenty of big chances. I’m sticking with Matt Doherty (5.5m) to finallyyyyyy produce a goal here! I’m calling it, you’ve heard it here… what’s that you say… it’s a defender Joff, you are crazy! You know I am 😉 Doherty drums will be banging after this game! (Come on mate, don’t make me look like an asshole)

This should be an interesting game! Newcastle are unbeaten in 3 games and all of a sudden are in 13th place, 6 points off the relegation zone.. they face a West Ham who have lost just 1 game in their last 7 home fixtures. Fun fact: Rafa Benitez has won more EPL games against West Ham than any other opponent. Wouldn’t think a surprise is on the cards but Benitez’s bandits love a stolen point or two the bloody thieves!

Michail Antonio (6.8m) has looked the most likely lately with his energetic wing runs and brute strength, he’s a joy to watch. Antonio has 2 goals and an assist in his last 4 EPL games and with a bit of confidence instilled by his manager, he could be a decent option for the immediate future. Felipe Anderson (7.2m) has had a barren run of late, not scoring a goal since GW19 and impatient owners will want some returns soonish or he will be on the chopping block!
Fabian Schar (4.7m) has had two massive scores sine GW23 scoring a 21 pointer (wow) and a 15 pointer last GW against Burnley. He missed a chunk of the early part of this season but since he’s a stable first teamer, he’s hitting the back of the net! All i’m saying is keep an eye on him 😉

Leicester bounced back from their 3 consecutive defeats with a win last GW and new manager Brendan (Kenny) Rogers will want to finish the season on a high and comes in at a great part of the season to learn who to keep and who to sell for next season. Watford are sitting pretty in 8th and will want to please fans with the highest possible finish this season which will probably be 7th and this is the type of game they must win if they want to achieve that feat.

Gerard Deulofeu‘s (5.6m) recent hattrick has him on FPL managers radars! Is the hype worth it you ask? I say approach with caution as they have a bit of a bad fixture run but saying that anyone that scores an EPL hattrick has pedigree (remembering Yossi Benayoun did too, he was decent though right?) and is worthy of a gamble. Troy Deeney (5.9m) lives and breathes Hornets and plays whole heartedly week in week out which I love as a passionate guy myself. Deeney seems to score points in clumps with his 3 hauls of 12, 15 and 15, a double digit score here would be welcome by owners.
Jamie Vardy (8.8m) hopefully has a new lease of life under Brendan (Steve) Rogers? Let’s hope the Red Bull drinking fiend fires up and gives the Foxes the season ending they desire with plenty of goals and plenty of Party’s at Vardy’s!

Ranieri welcomes his former club to Craven Cottage and simply needs some sort of result here if they want to begin to believe in survival as it will give them enormous confidence moving forward. UPDATE: Ranieri has been sacked. Smoking Sarri’s men will have other ideas and the fact that Sarri benched his spoilt brat goalkeeper says he means business and not to mess with the cigarette chewing maniac! (Loved when he ripped his shirt after the Kepa shenanigans… he was soooo pissed off!!!)

Aleksandar Mitrovic (6.5m) is Fulham’s hitman and boy do they need him to poach a goal or two in this one! He hasn’t been as prolific lately as he would like but still plenty of matches to change that and make a difference!
Eden Hazard (10.8m) has 7 double digit hauls this season and I think he makes it 8 here! Fulham have the leakiest of leaky defences and simply present opportunity’s willingly to opposition players which the little wizard just has to make them count! Gonzalo Higuaín (9.5m) is another who will get presented with chances and most likely racks up some points of his own. If only Hudson-Odoi was on the other wing, we could call the trio Triple H 😉

Lastly to Goodison Park where another derby takes place as the Toffees entertain fierce rivals Liverpool. The Blues will do everything they can to stop the Reds in their tracks to derail their title charge. Everton are winless in their last 18 encounters with Liverpool in all competitions but how they love that to change here!

Gylfi Sigurdsson (7.2m) was another shout I called last week as he scored his first goal since GW23 (I really need to put some of these good shouts in!!!). If someone is to break down Klopp’s men, Siggy can craft something out of nothing with his passing or shooting.
Virgil Van Dijk (6.5m) rewarded patient owners with an unbelievable double last GW! I feel he has a eye for goal now and scores a goal in the coming weeks… will you own him for it? Sadio Mane (9.7m) has been in scintillating form of late registering a double last GW and 6 goals in his last 6 EPL games, for those who are still building a team for GW31, he’s the perfect candidate.

*If you like what you are reading, please share it on Instagram and/or retweet on Twitter to get it out there as I would love to assist as many people as possible. Thanks guys, peace 🙂

CARDIFF VS EVERTON (midweek games | get them teams in!)

A rested Toffee outfit heads to Wales midweek in a must win match for Marco Silva’s job security, as they’ve lost four of their last five EPL games. The extra game off could prove pivotal in acquiring the three points here, however Neil Warnock’s troops are hovering above the relegation zone and he will no doubt rally his troops for battle making this a potentially cagey encounter. Btw, Cardiff have never won an EPL midweek game!

The big bad bustling Ivory Coast international Sol Bamba (4.7m) , has two goals in his last two games and is Cardiff’s equal top scorer this season with four goals. I love giving him a shout being an ex-Leeds man and his attacking prowess from corners is menacing for many teams, can he make it three in three?
Gylfi Sigurdsson
(7.2m) has disappointed as of late with one goal in his last eight games, but a goal in the reverse fixture and nine goals to his name this season says this could be a turning point for the Icelandic playmaker. Lucas Digne (5.3m) has been dumped by many FPL managers due to his wildly loose scoring habits this season (plus a BGW). Three negative scores and three double digit scores is actually insane, literally can’t remember a player so hit and miss like this ever in FPL?! Not saying that he will get double digits here but a positive score could arise for the cross-happy Frenchman.

Poor old Huddersfield! Unfortunately they just don’t have the squad to sustain EPL life and have lost 14 out of their last 15 games! But wait for this one, the last time they got a big W next to their name was in the reverse fixture PLUS Huddersfield have won 11 of their last 13 league games Vs Wolves… surely they couldn’t, could they?! No way! Wolves on the other hand are unbeaten in their last five EPL games and will want to get revenge on their earlier season result against the Terriers.

The Big Mexican Raul Jimenez (6.8m) has been potentially the best value option all season and he isn’t letting up! A penalty last gameweek and four goals in his last four GWs spells a haul could be on the cards here! Great first EPL season, bravo! This game has some Doherty Drums written all over it! Matt Doherty (5.4m) has been another spectacular value pick all season netting three EPL goals and six assists, an attacking return could be on the cards here!

Leicester got absolutely battered at home against Palace on the weekend and have lost 3 EPL games on the trot! Claude Puel copped the axe as a result as the Leicester hierarchy  do not want to enter the relegation scrap! Another crazy stat for you: Leicester are unbeaten in their last 14 home matches played on a Tuesday! They face a Brighton team that will be well rested and definitely push the Foxes all the way!

Jamie Vardy (8.8m) has to be the guy to steer Leicester out of this slump! JV has green light fixtures galore in the coming weeks and plays in BGW31 but consistency enters the fray as he has lacked it something shocking this season! Two goals in his last nine matches, can we trust him? Our GW27 Gut Feeling Friday James Maddison (6.6m) failed us last GW, but I feel we were one week early on the sleek haired Englishman. Leicester’s number 10 is another whose consistency is shot and needs to deliver some points to regain some trust from FPL managers.

Both teams had wins on the weekend and sit in 15th and 16th just above the relegation zone making this game HUUUGEEE!!! Burnley have been on a wicked run of form of late ( Since Heaton made his way to the first team 😉 ) in which Benitez will be well aware of and he will most likely intend to keep this game very tight and low-scoring. Three of the last five these teams have played have ended in draws

I give Salomon Rondon (5.8m) a lot of love in these previews and he’s delivered for me on the weekend. The Venezuelan is hot property this week with many Rashford owners/GW31 planners looking at striking assets in the short term. With Miguel Almiron (6.0m) playing alongside, Rondon’s points could actually get some consistency as the new signing passed the eye test against Huddersfield… but that was Huddersfield after all. Let’s see if these two can develop a good partnership, watch this space.
It’s a given I go to Burnley’s Burley Boys in Ashley Barnes (5.6m) and Chris Wood (6.2m) as they both hit the back of the net last GW to surprise Spurs. Between the boys they have eight goals in their last four EPL games, if they can continue that form here it wouldn’t surprise me if they do the business on Tyneside.

Arsenal have won all four of their home meetings with the Cherries by a combined score-line of 11-1. Another detrimental stat is that Bournemouth have lost their last eight EPL away games conceding at least two goals each time. Will Emery’s boys make four EPL wins in their last five games at the Emirates midweek?

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (11.1m) was captained by plenty (including myself) last GW and we got an electric 15 mins from the Gabonese striker which he could of easily got a goal or assist late on. Wasn’t to be but what’s to be is a guaranteed start here and potentially a nice haul for patient FPL managers. Mesut Ozil (7.9m) is a player I would loveeee to bring in if his manager decides to play him consistently… I’m calling that he starts here and does some damage as his 27 minutes last GW was beautiful on the eyes.

This game sees 18th play 19th in a must-must-must win for Fulham if they want to drag their sorry asses out of the mess they are in! A Fulham win will bring them within four points of the Saints. Both teams last saw victory in GW24 so a win for either side here will be celebrated like a cup final!

James Ward-Prowse (5.1m) has lacked attacking returns of late but what better opportunity will he have to return to attacking returns than in this game against the very leaky Fulham. The same goes for Charlie Austin (5.5m) whom hasn’t scored since GW17 and if given the chance to start, will want to make the most of his opportunity here.
Aleksandar Mitrovic (6.5m) got a double in the reverse fixture and has three doubles to his name this season. What Ranieri would do for another double here or even just a dominant fiery Serbian display from his hitman!

Palace surprised many against Leicester with a rampant 4-1 at the King Power stadium. They host a Man Utd team whom are still unbeaten in the EPL under manager Solskaer. United are unbeaten against Palace in a VERY LONG TIME in the league… 21 games since the Eagles last beat the Reds, you would think that turns into game 22 after this one.

In the last GW preview, I bigged up Wilfried Zaha (6.7m) and he did the business with a wizardry double! No doubt the former United player will have to repeat the trick here if they want to dream in this fixture.
Paul Pogba (8.8m) should be owned by you still despite blanking in GW31 in my opinion as he is simply essential to our teams at the moment and could be the difference in this game with Rashford most likely sitting this one out. Alexis Sanchez (10.0m) is definitely not an OGS favourite being the last resort in their injury disaster against Liverpool, but I say now is his time to make a stand and show the world he is no where near finished! I’m backing Sexy Lexy in the coming weeks to regain some form and respect!

This delicious London derby has come at such a beautiful time of the season with battles at both ends! Chelsea will want to bounce back from their League Cup defeat and stay in the hunt for 4th position while Tottenham broke their win streak on the weekend and need a result here if they want to keep up the pace at the summit. Crazy statistic: Chelsea have only lost one of their last 32, yes that’s correct, 32 home games against Tottenham with the defeat coming last season. Also Spurs are looking for their third consecutive win against the Blues, the last time they won three in a row was back in the 60s!

Gonzalo Higuaín (9.5m) should start being benched in the League Cup final and will be hoping to take this opportunity to win the fans hearts with a derby goal! For those who are building a team for BGW 31, I recommend the Kinder Bueno fiend for some points in the coming GWs. Marcos Alonso (6.4m)… yeah that’s right, Marcos Alonso has received plentyyy of criticism from FPL managers as he hasn’t exactly delivered attacking returns recently, instead hitting the post (the most in the league actually with six posts) and was dropped by Sarri for the Cup final. The sexy haired Spaniard will want to nail down his spot and put up a solid display here… attacking points are around the corner!
Harry Kane (12.4m) is BACK! He played against Burnley with no rust and like he never left, that long range effort Heaton sensationally saved… WOW what a worldie that would of been! Kane loves a derby goal and will want to get Spurs back to winning ways here!

Liverpool may be left disappointed they didn’t take the three points against an injured Manchester United but at the same time a point against OGS’s side of later away is decent. Klopp will want to put this game to bed early as they have a derby of their own against Everton on the weekend amidst a fixture pile up. Watford on the other hand smashed Cardiff on the weekend and will definitely try to put up a fight at Anfield.

Mohammed Salah (13.6m) scored four goals in this very fixture last season! He seems to enjoy playing against the Hornets netting six in his last three EPL games. An easy captain choice for some this week. Andy Robertson (6.8m) has been a revelation this season leading the FPL defender points (150 points) and has a remarkable 23 bonus points! He is worth the money people and has 17 points in his last two games.
Despite not scoring a goal since GW 18, I talked up Gerard Deulofeu (5.5m) last GW and he responded with a hattrick (before his usual early substitution) and could potentially exploit a Liverpool defence that have kept only one clean sheet at home in their last four EPL fixtures.

The League Final winners host West Ham at the Etihad after a 120 minute run out at Wembley. They obviously have the depth to continue three match EPL win streak here and will look to score a minimum of two goals at home for the 15th game in a row. West Ham will have some confidence after getting back to winning ways against Fulham last GW. They would loveeeee a draw here but we can’t see that happening can we?!

Sergio Kun Aguero (11.6m) could become the first player in EPL history to score three consecutive home hattricks if he smashes in another one here! What an electric season he is having and I am personally scared to not own him this week. You’d think Leroy Sane (9.5m) starts here, well you’d think he will after being benched in the League Cup Final but hey Pep gonna Pep! If he finds his way onto the field from the beginning, i’m expecting a Sane explosion of points here for patient, suffering Sane FPL owners.

CARDIFF VS WATFORD (early kick-off | get them teams in!)

The reverse fixture was an intense 3-2 battle going Watford’s way, a similar type of game would be lovely thanks fellas! Cardiff spirits are high at the moment as they look for their third win on trot here continuing survival push. Watford are mid-table sitting coincidently sitting 13 points off both the relegation zone and a Europa League spot.

The big bad bustling Sol Bamba (4.6m) is Cardiff’s second top FPL scorer with 89 points (Etheridge is top – 113 points) and has three goals to his name this season. The Ivory Coast International needs a solid display at the Cardiff City Stadium and a cheeky goal would come in handy for the Welsh outfit. Victor Camarasa (4.6m) is back from injury and is in contention again to regain his starting position which includes penalty duties. An assist last week while only playing seven minutes says Victor’s back for me!
Gerard Deulofeu (5.5m) has been very quiet of late, last hitting the back of the net in GW18… the little wizard is surelyyy due for some points! The reverse fixture vs Cardiff he got his biggest haul of the season with 13 points (a goal and an assist), can he haunt Cardiff again?

West Ham haven’t registered a win in their last four matches but will want that run to end against the ever reliably leaky Fulham. Ranieri’s Fulham needs to shore up that defence quick-fast (conceding the most goals in EPL this season-58) and need to get their act together if they want to be apart of a relegation battle. Still time for a valiant comeback but the clock is against the London outfit.

With West Ham confirmed as not blanking in BGW31, shall we look at some West Ham assets? Brazilian Felipe Anderson (7.2m) is a tasty option to shore up your midfield and has been looking more dangerous the last few GWs despite not returning many points. The poor man’s Ibra in Marko Arnautovic (6.8m) signed a contract extension of late and could be a decent shout if he starts to find form and gets back to scoring ways.
The ridiculously funky haired Ryan Babel (5.5m) has looked menacing for Fulham in the four EPL games he’s played this season, returning two assists. They need him to start hitting the back of the net though if they want to avoid relegation.

For me, Burnley’s rise up the table is heavily influenced by the return of the safest hands in England Tom Heaton! They have been unbeaten since he returned to the starting line up and have leaped up to 15th but still hovering around the danger zone. The Spurs are in some sizzling form themselves winning four EPL games on the trot and somehow five points off top spot! Will Spurs win-streak come to an end or will Heaton’s undefeated run end here? Something’s got to give…

Tom Heaton (4.8m) should be England’s number one at the Nations League finals this year, here’s why. Firstly he’s proven himself in the past with heroic displays and fantastic leadership and this season he has almost single handily 😉 turned around Burnley’s season. The Clarets first 19 games they come up with a measly 12 points and since Heaton’s return, they’ve amassed 15 points in 7 games averaging 3.8 saves per game. Ashley Barnes (5.6m) and Chris Wood (6.2m) have been on fire of late, both scoring three in their last three games each. Burnley’s Burley Boys are a force to be reckoned with and a surprise could be on the cards if they are up and about at Turf Moor this weekend!
Heung-Min Son (8.9m) has been firing on all cylinders since his return from the Asian Cup. The Korean BBQ has three goals in his last three EPL games and a nice goal in the Champions League to boot, let’s see if Son can steer the Spurs to their fifth EPL win in a row!

This has the making of a goal-fest! Bournemouth concede far too many for their liking but tend to play some attractive football at home and the Wolves haven’t kept a clean sheet away from home in 10 away fixtures! A delicious fixture awaits us at the Vitality this weekend!

The Scottish Giuly in Ryan Fraser (6.1m) has some ripping creative numbers this season as the following is an amazing stat… brace yourself! He has the created the most amount of BIG CHANCES this EPL season, sitting fourth in chances created overall. He also plays right through and doesn’t blank in BGW 31. With those stats handy, you have to look at Josh King (6.4m) this week, his last two home fixtures he’s amassed 24 points (3 goals, 1 assist). He’s also on pens while Wilson is out through injury. Both players are decent shouts for BGW 31 also as Bournemouth are guaranteed a fixture.
Matt Doherty (5.4m) has been so close to flourishing of late with plenty of near missing attacking returns (Seems to save his goals/assists for the FA Cup, arghhh!), I see the Doherty drums banging once again this week with some sort of attacking return.

Newcastle have won their two last EPL home games and have stolen points in games this season when they probably shouldn’t have… this game they should most definitely get the points against a very toothless Huddersfield. The Yorkshire team has scored the fewest goals in EPL this season but have looked slightly better of late under new manager Jan Siewert. Their top scorer is defender Zanka (3 goals) making him the lowest high scorer in the EPL.

The Venezuelan in Salomon Rondon (5.7m) will be licking his lips at this fixture and will want to add to his six league goals this season against the bottom team. He scored against Hudderfield in the reverse fixture and is another player who’s guaranteed to be playing in GW 31. Benitez will have been waiting all season for Jamaal Lascelles (4.6m) to finally break his scoring drought after netting three goals last season, will this be the big defender’s week as well as a some clean sheet points?
Our Aussie friend Aaron Mooy (5.0m) hasn’t reached the heights that many of us know he can this season scoring only twice this season (in the same game coincidentally) and recording ZERO assists! He’s definitely better than those numbers, here’s hoping his last 12 games he can put some respect to those stats and assist Huddersfield attempt to gain respect themselves.

Palace have won their last three EPL games against Leicester with an total scoreline of 9-0. Does this give away the result of this game or can Leicester brake that hoodoo and brake their five matches winless run? Palace unbeaten in three EPL games and will be happy if they make it four here no matter if it’s a win or draw.

Ricardo Domingos Barbosa Pereira (5.3m) has got to be one of the sexiest names in football, makes you want to dance while to say it, doesn’t it?! Anyway this guy has had a great season scoring twice and assist six goals. Leicester’s green light run of fixtures, including a definite game in BGW 31 makes him a great option for your defence. Three home games in four, surely their terrible form has to turn around soon! James Maddison (6.6m) is another whom should be on our radar! Despite not registering a goal since GW 15, he’s looked dangerous of late and is a game or two off an attacking return for sure!
Wilfried Zaha (6.7m) is still somehow owned by 10.8% of teams after his mid-season fizzle but of late has registered two goals in his last two starts. If the freakish away record of the Eagles at the King Power stadium is to stand, you kinda have to expect some magic from the controversially hair-styled Ivorian.

On paper this looks like a straight forward Gunners win, especially with Arsenal being unbeaten in their last 12 EPL home games (10 wins, 2 draws) however the Saints will be fighting for their lives at the Emirates. They are languishing in the relegation zone but have been staunch on their travels of late, remaining unbeaten in their last four away games (2 wins, 2 draws) and they will draw some confidence from the reverse fixture which they won 3-2. Hasenhuttl would love to steal a point here!

Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang (11.1m) made his way into many teams last GW but a case of the man-flu stopped him from participating. With back to back appetizing home fixtures can the rest of the FPL world ignore the Gabonese striker? He has 33 points in his last four home games, a decent captain choice as Super Salah is away to Manchester United this week. Alexandre Lacazette (9.5m) is another Gunner who many FPL managers brought in last week returning a solid nine points. The striker has been in great form of late scoring four in his last six starts and has the most ‘winning goals’ in the EPL this season.
If given the chance to start, Charlie Austin (5.5m) will embrace playing this defenceless Arsenal team which keeper Leno has kept two clean sheets in 19 starts! That is some super ugly numbers right there, they just seem to always concede and Austin has coincidentally scored in every EPL game he has played against the Gunners.

I’m just happy this game is played at such an appealing time of the season with Liverpool fighting for EPL glory and United wanting to cement a Champions League berth. It’s been a while since they’ve met with both teams desperate for the win. Very exciting game awaits us at Old Trafford! Liverpool won the reverse fixture this season and if they do the double, it’ll be the first time since the 2013/14 season.

Paul Pogba (8.8m) is rightly owned by 42.9% of managers as his recent form has been scintillating to say the least! The Frenchman has proved his class again and again this season and will want to redeem his Champions League red card with a solid performance here. He hasn’t scored anything less that seven points in his last four GWs, I say that continues here. Alexis Sanchez (10.0m) on the other hand is owned by 1.2% of managers, which is also justified by the season he is having but hey who said Sexy Lexi can’t turn it around?! With Lingard and Martial injured, if there is ever a time to make a statement for OGS and Man United fans, it’s against Liverpool… watch this space…
Ignore the Mohammed Salah (13.6m) for captaincy at your peril. Despite not having the best form against the ‘big teams’ and playing away from home, it would not surprise me if the Egyptian king gets a decent point return here. Saying that, if you own Auba, I would obviously lean towards the Arsenal striker for the armband.

Solskjaer still remains unbeaten in 10 EPL contests… could we have a wacky surprise at Craven Cottage? I think not, the Tinkerman Ranieri has lost four of his last five games and needs to whip his boys into shape quick fast  if he wants to avoid relegation.

Aleksander Mitrovic again put some shots on the board last week without any luck but hey he’s having a go! If he continues to buy a ticket and have some shots, maybe potentially going aerial this week avoiding De Gea’s magical legs, maybe he slots one?
Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford are in truly remarkable form and should both be in your teams for the value they present. Nothing else to say here besides expect a six to nine point haul from both of them this week.

Palace are winless in their last seven EPL matches with London rivals West Ham losing the reverse fixture 3-2 earlier this season. Both teams are lacking consistency at the moment sitting 14th and 12th respectively with a very pointless but gap filling fact, both teams have a -7 goal difference… Maybe you like facts like that I dunno 😉

Playing only eight minutes on his debut last week, Michy Batshuayi got an assist to help his new side get the three points and we expect that surely Roy lets his new toy start here. Priced at 6.5m, Michy could turn into a decent budget option if he does what he knows best and hit the back of the net… watch this space. Luka Milivojevic has scored 15 penalties in 75 appearances, that’s some insane numbers there! For some reason the Serb is gifted with all these penalty opportunities and has actually scored six pens this year in 25 matches, will he step up to the spot here again?
Felipe Anderson is back on many managers radar after Richarlison’s non heroics in the recent double gameweek. Grabbed an assist against Liverpool last gameweek, will the Brazilian spark back into form soon?

Unfortunately for the Yorkshire team, they have scored a measly five goals in their 13 home EPL games this season so an Arsenal clean sheet is more than likely here. Arsenal could go big against a side that’s basically relegated already and only has two wins for the season.

Providing Mr. Aubameyang shakes off his bout of the man-flu, we fully expect an explosion of points for the Gabonese striker. He has yet to score more than eight points in a single away game that he has started this season, could this be the eruption managers have been waiting for? His partner in crime Alexandre Lacazette will no doubt join the party if an eruption was to take place and he doesn’t mind an away game scoring 12 points on two separate occasions.

The last three times these teams have met, the score after 270 minutes is 11-0. Liverpool is another team fully capable to going LARGE against a Cherry outfit that tend to leak goals away from home! Plus Liverpool must win this game to keep up with the lately rampant and rotating City.

Mo Salah! The Egyptian got a hattrick last time they met when many managers including both of us took him out! Idiots you say? Correct we say! Moving forward, don’t captain him at your peril this week! Sadio Mane has three goals in three games and we expect him to make it four in a row at Anfield. The Senegalese attacker is one to watch for the upcoming gameweeks if he can maintain this form.
With Wilson and Brooks out, we look to Ryan Fraser for any kind of resistance from the team in red and black. He may be against James Milner if Howe wisely matches them up and hey stranger things have happened.

Southampton are unbeaten in their last five EPL games and they are playing a Welsh outfit that got their first win in a while last gameweek. Massive six pointer here and could be a very interesting match!

Keep an eye on our Gut Feeling Friday, James Ward Prowse! Three goals in his last four matches, on penalties, we expect some sort of return for the young Englishman! Jan Bednarek makes our Hit Squad bench this week and is massively budget enabling at 4m. Eventually the big man will get his head on one and make the scoresheet but a clean sheet for managers would be nice here.
Bobby Reid‘s double last week earns him a say here. Four goals for the season and potentially some trust from his gaffer now, can he back up his performance against Bournemouth here?

8th plays 9th here in what could be a very open and entertaining fixture! Marco Silva will visit his former club and hope to put his DGW woes behind him and put in a solid performance to regain some confidence… in FPL managers 😉

Two very dangerous left-backs will be on display in this game with Jose Holebas and Lucas Digne both more likely to get attacking points than clean sheet points here. Both have been great value for their respective teams this season with Holebas scoring three goals and assisting seven while Digne has scored three and assisted three. Both have amazing assist potential everygame. Troy Deeney was close to being our Gut Feeling Friday as he is due a goal. It has been four weeks since his last FPL goal… we’re thinking he scores here.

This is another cagey relegation six pointer! Brighton is relatively clear of relegation at the moment however it’s as simple as a Burnley win to potentially drag them back into the relegation dogfight. Both teams have not won their last three EPL games.

The ‘general manager’ Glenn Murray will be looking to make the most of this home fixture after scoring two doubles in his last three games (in all competitions)… potentially another double here?
Dwight McNeil isn’t a name you would have heard of, maybe ever, but he’s got the faith of manager Dyche and has a goal and an assist to his name this season. His stats are decent for someone you’ve never heard of as he has a few shots to his name and at 4.4m, he represents such a budget enabler! Ashley Barnes did it again last week for his mates, he may go three goals in three games here!

The Spurs are keeping up with the title race and the top four, sitting very pretty in 3rd while Leicester is cruising in mid-table. Spurs won the previous two fixtures between -these two sides for a score of 7-4. Could there be goals here?

If anyone’s got something to say about goals in this match, it’s Son! Scored in both games after his Asian Cup return, the South Korean BBQ is lighting up the FPL world and we all need this man in our teams, it’s as simple as that! GET HIM IN NOW, not later, not next GW, NOW! Christian Eriksen hasn’t had the best FPL season to date but don’t write off the Dane whom can spark into form at any minute, could this game be that spark?
Jamie Vardy has been involved in seven goals in his last seven appearances vs Spurs (four goals, three assists). He has to be the man for the foxes if they want to get something out of this match.

Massive match at the Etihad! Chelsea have only won at the Etihad twice in their last 9 attempts. Sarri’s debut visit could be an interesting one as City look like they may of hit their stride with Liverpool stuttering.

Sergio Aguero loves a home goal and slotted a cool hattrick past Chelsea’s London rivals Arsenal last GW (making Aguero triple captainers go into ecstasy). We expect him to start despite Pep-Roulette which hurt many Sane owners last gameweek. We think Sane also starts here and potentially punishes sellers with a haul of his own.
Gonzalo Higuaín – “Big Rig Hig” – had a great game against Huddersfield but that was Hudderfield… let’s see what the Kinder Bueno loving Argentine does against a real team!
Hazard jumped back onto our radars with his performance last GW, could his new centre forward teammate unlock the potential that has been missing with him playing out of position over the past few gameweeks?

Lucky last we have the mighty Wolves who have won three on the bounce against Benetiz’s bandits. Bandits you ask? Because they steal points in games you don’t expect them too… could this be one of those games?

Raul Jimenez is in form! Another player you must own, 6.7m, three goals in last two games and expecting some points here for sure! Matt Doherty’s drums roll on as he went big midweek with two goals and an assist but it was the FA Cup unfortunately (Argghhh) but hey, who says he can’t do it again, but in the league this time please matey!
Miguel Almiron, if given the chance to start is one to watch for us. Great passing and an eye for goal, he is a great addition and we feel he can make a difference in the back half of the season for Newcastle.

The Kaneless Spurs have LIFE afterall, with the help of the very tired (could we say enslaved?) Heung-Min Son. Poch refused to rest the South Korea following his return from the Asian Cup and it paid dividends but will he start his star man yet again here? Meanwhile in Tyneside they managed to beat the reigning champions and actually signed a player!

The very criticized Fernando Llorente got the winner against Watford midweek and we say good on him! The poor guy barely gets a run by his coach and will slowly find some good consistent form! At the end of the day, the bloke played for Juventus! He’s a steal at 5.7m! With Ben Davies most likely missing through his groin injury, Danny Rose becomes a tasty prospect with back to back home games upcoming. A midweek assist and plenty of balls whipped into the box makes him a good option.
Salomon Rondon has scored twice as many goals as any other Newcastle player this season with six, if anyone is to spoil the Spurs party, the Venezuelan is the Geordie’s man!

Fun fact: Brighton have never lost a Premier League game in the month of February! You’d think they will continue this run against a Watford that have kept only two clean sheets in 14 games. Javi Gracia will become Watford’s longest serving coach in EPL history upon completion of this fixture (pending that he survives the sack before kick-off)

Our GUT FEELING FRIDAY Glenn Murray is our go to guy in this match! The man just froths a home fixture scoring seven times at the Amex. A recent double against the very open-legged Fulham will give him confidence leading into this home fixture. A goal and an assist in his last two fixtures gives us confidence Pascal Groß can do some damage here. His last season’s figures of seven goals and eight assists shows us what he’s capable of and he’d be hoping to rediscover that form in the back-half of the season.
Gracia’s boy Roberto Pereyra has been quiet of late, not scoring only one goal in his last 14 GWs and is still owned by 14.8% (surely in some dead teams) but hey he’s well overdue a goal!

Undefeated in five games, Burnley will look to add to that streak against Hasselhoff’s rejuvenated Saints. The two sides sit in 16th and 17th respectively in what’s going to be an epic relegation six-pointer battle.

Since Tom Heaton has been in between the sticks for Burnley they have been undefeated and actually keeping clean sheets! Isn’t that an insane stat! Why oh why did they sign Joe Hart with the likes of this man and Nick Pope in the ranks?! Only 0.4% ownership for Tommy, I think that figure should be higher… just saying. The dynamic duo up front, Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood have been banging them in lately and will be hoping to add to their combined tally of five goals in their last five GWs.
We’re big advocates of James Ward-Prowse here at FPL Take The Hit, waiting for a manager to finally give the kid a shot, thank you Hasselhoff for being that guy! Three goals in three games, only owned by 1.1% and worth a mesely 5m, keep an eye on the Englishman!

In such a gimme fixture for the Blues, can they come out of this slump that’s taken them out of the Champions League places? Smoking Sarri’s translator has been given a workout as of late as he loves a clear English message about his teams poor attitude, will it finally pay off and get a win against the relegation bound Huddersfield?

This fixture is literally designed to give Gonzalo Higuaín a kick-start to his Premier League career. He has to bang in one or two goals here with his now wingman Eden Hazard, no doubt due a haul! Plenty of us have taken him out this GW, including both FPL Take The Hit boys and we expect him to punish us! This double GW has fallen horribly as he is due a run now. Hazard’s last home goal is GW7, I repeat GW7. The same applies for Marcos Alonso who has been ‘dropped?!’ Has he though?! One thing i’m sure of is he is due to not hit the post and to bloody score instead! WE SHALL SEE!

The signing of Batshuayi will bolster Palace and give them something else upfront apart from the haircut needing Zaha who is suspended for this fixture. Palace won the reverse fixture at Craven Cottage comfortably and will be hoping to do the job at home here.

We expect Batman Batshuayi to get a debut goal if he indeed makes the starting XI and really take it up to the faultering Fulham defence. Andros Townsend has started every single game this season for Palace as he must be ‘Roy’s boy’ and had a decent return of four goals and three assists. Against this Fulham defence is leaky and he will want to add to those figures and keep his father figure Hodgeson happy.
Aleksander Mitrovic! Was due a goal last week and didn’t disappoint, we are thinking the Serb backs up his double last week with some returns again! Fulham are literally playing finals every week now as they are definitely in deep doo sitting in 19th position.

The first of the double GW teams, Everton will want to leapfrog their opponents here as Wolves are two points ahead at the moment. We expect an entertaining affair at Goodison Park and goals to be thick and fast just like the return fixture earlier in the season (2-2).

RICHARLISON! The man finally produced the goods last GW (besides his no bonus points, grrr) but is actually a viable option for this double GW. Will owners be happy theykept him besides his latest 2,2,2,2 streak prior to his 8 pointer last GW?! We say YES! Gylfi Sigurdsson is a player we really think can light up these double GWs, the man is on pens and already has nine goals to his name this season! Watch out for the Icelandic viking!
Raul Jimenez got his second double digit haul of the season last GW and can definitely do some damage here against a leaky Everton defence that’s kept two clean sheets in twelve games.

Cardiff fought hard against Arsenal last GW and showed plenty of grit and will hope to push a very confident Bournemouth outfit who belted Chelsea 4-0 last GW. The return fixture seen the Cherries win comfortably at home 2-0 but this game could be a lot tighter as Cardiff are deep in a relegation battle and need all the points they can get.

The big hitman Oumar Niasse will be hoping to get off the mark for his new side here against a Bournemouth team that tend to concede a goal or two on their travels. We rate the Senegal international highly and think he actually could make it into your squad at some point towards the backend of the season… what, I actually mean it 😉
David Brooks is a doubt for this game but should make it we think, the young fella has been amazing this season notching up six goals and four assists. The Cherries don’t have any blank fixtures and he is soooo budget friendly he may also make it into your squad soon. UPDATE: Scratch the above, he’s ruled out for a month 😦 Josh King is trying his best to fill the void left by the injured Callum Wilson and has been doing an awesome job as of late with three goals and an assist in his last two GWs. We think the big Norwegian does some damage in this fixture.

The baby faced assassin’s (Solskaer) dream start has ended with a draw against Burnley but he is still unbeaten. Leicester have dealt blows to the two main title contenders this season beating Man City and drawing with Liverpool last GW. Will they influence the race for 4th position also here?

Jamie Vardy‘s numbers haven’t been as prolific as usual but he loves a big goal against big clubs! The menace scored in the return fixture and wouldn’t surprise us if he nabs a goal to spoil De Gea’s clean sheet parade.
Unfortunately Marcus Rashford‘s streak had to come to an end despite chances to continue it but we back the in-form striker to continue and put in a strong performance here. Romelu Lukaku or others call him Fridgekaku, the guy is a beast and just needs a goal or two to get some confidence and if he starts again, we must get on the scoresheet if he wants to be relevant while OGS is around.

City has four of their last four encounters in all competitions so have the wood over their rivals lately. However a devastating defeat last week against Newcastle may hurt confidence (probably not-Pep is mentally a genius) as Arsenal will try to take advantage of that potential dip in confidence and try to at least nab a point for a change.

Leroy Sane will… sorry ‘should’ start this game as he didn’t play a full 90mins last time out and is in a good patch of form. We expect a haul over the DGW from him! Sergio Aguero is another name that ‘should’ start but Peptation is imminent and approach all players for this double with caution. The little wizard loves a home goal scoring 8 of his 11 goals at home. Our captain for the double gameweek most likely!
The most likely to score for the Gunners is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang obviously! 15 goals this season and loves a big game aswell does Auba, if City don’t keep a clean sheet we think this beautifully haired man will somehow be apart of it.

WOW! Liverpool have scored four goals against West Ham in their last four appearances against West Ham. WOW! Did I say captain Aguero… hmm The Egyptian may get the armband after all! We expect Liverpool to win this comfortably, by four goals perhaps?

Felipe Anderson hasn’t scored in his last five appearances for the Hammers, he is due but will it be against this Liverpool defence that don’t concede too many?
Mo Salah say no more than this guy is a beast away from home, 46 points in his last four away games. We’ve both never captained a single game player in a DGW but hey i’m bloody tempted arghh! Sadio Mane has two in his last two games and snuck back into the dream team… he is still relevant and has plenty of shots in a Liverpool season that hey they very well may win the league! I know plenty of people don’t want to read that but wrap your heads around it people it could happen is Salah is fit allllll season long!

The first double GW of the season is here! We expect goals galore here and in the reverse fixture, a comfortable City win took place (3-1). Let’s hope for some big scores for our big hitters in this bonus game! Very interesting to see who Pep fields this game but expect rotation unfortunately 😦

Goodluck managers!
